Co-founder of Delta Drone, Fabien Blanc-Paques, joins Airware as Vice President of Solutions Engineering

Fabien Blanc-Paques, co-founder of Delta Drone, a designer and manufacturer of commercial drones in France, has joined San Francisco-based Airware, builder of the operating system for commercial drones. Blanc-Paques will serve as Airware’s Vice President of Solutions Engineering.

“Since the creation of Delta Drone, Fabien has been the CTO and established the partnership between Airware and Delta Drone,” said Christian F. Viguié, chairman and CEO of Delta Drone. “The arrival of Fabien at Airware is perfectly aligned with the evolution of the partnership between Delta Drone and Airware, at a time when commercial drone applications become a reality in the United States.”

At Airware, Blanc-Paques will lead solutions engineering, drawing on his strong experience in designing and operating commercial drone solutions for Delta Drone in Europe.

“We have worked closely with Fabien for over four years and no one has more expertise in developing commercial-grade drone solutions that meet the needs of enterprise customers,” said Jonathan Downey, Founder & CEO of Airware. “As we expand our work with major enterprise customers, we are excited to have Fabien onboard and look forward to our continued partnership with Delta Drone.”

Delta Drone and Airware have a long-standing partnership, which will continue as Delta Drone expands operations to the United States.
