os-Series Overview

Airware’s os-Series Autopilots combines modular hardware with an open architecture, making each autopilot the ideal development platform for the rapid prototyping and cost-effective production of custom Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). These autopilots are offered in multiple form factors with features tailored for various vehicles, payloads, and applications. Each autopilot is a complete integrated solution and contains an INS/GPS with Air Data, a datalink radio, payload interfaces, and a Linux computer within one miniature package. Our autopilots come with professionally written flight control and mission software which Airware provides under a royalty-free license that allows for easy modification, extension, and inclusion in proprietary products.

osFlexPilot

Designed for fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft. Includes an EMI shielded aluminum enclosure, 51-pin micro-D connector, up to 7 payload interfaces (e.g. USB Host, CAN, I2C, SPI, TTL Serial, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485), choice of long range datalink radio, and regulated power for payloads (+Vin, 5 V, and 3.3 V)

osFlexQuad

Tailored for multi-rotor flight with up to 8 ESCs connected using the RC servo interface and an unlimited number available over I2C or CAN. Includes up to four lov-voltage serial ports, choice of short or long range modem (e.g. Digi, Microhard), and substantial regulated power for payloads (+5 V, +3.3 V)

Designed for fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft where weight, size, and price point are vital.  Includes connections to 8 servos, several payload interfaces, and an integrated short range datalink radio. Features the same INS and development capabilities as the osFlexPilot
